Raw edges with a perfectly straight line offer the best of both worlds: the vintage aesthetic of a torn edge is present, but with the streamlined appeal of a straight edge.

The quality of velvet is determined by the fibres chosen for its pile, and you’ll quickly see the difference of our Lush Velvet’s pile. Bright, soft, reflective of light, and sheeny—this is an elegant fibre with many possible uses.

NOTE ABOUT WORKING WITH VELVET:
A raw edge velvet does shed some of its pile, so make sure to work with this fibre in a well ventilated space.

Velvet is a delicate fibre that is ideally not washed, and certainly not machine washed. To remove creases, you can gently steam with a cool iron on the ribbon’s reverse side.
