ABOUT OUR RECYCLED COTTON
We are very proud and passionate to supply maker communities with recycled cotton, and we’d love to tell you more about how our recycled cotton is created. By taking textile waste that is otherwise headed for landfills, do our part to encourage more sustainable and zero-waste production models. Pre-consumer textile waste is grouped into colour categories, then blended to create a uniform colour that doesn’t require the application of dyes. This recycling and colour grouping gives the rope minuscule speckles (or freckles) that add to its beauty and hint at the ways in which waste has been repurposed for new life. In some of the colours, these flecks remain visible and in some of the colours they do not. If you’re after more detail about this, please do reach out and send us a message.
