EVER WONDERED WHAT WE DO WITH OUR SCRAPS?

Turn them into gorgeous art yarn of course!!! These bundles of joy are handspun by Canadian fibreartist and creative entrepreneur, Kate Zazzara (of Rooted Woven Art in New Brunswick).

The layers of recycling and repurposing here are a story unto itself. In our warehouse, we’ve collected scraps of already recycled cotton from our bestselling recycled cotton collection: fibres (accumulated from balling, wrapping, sampling, etc). Then Kate has skillfully spun those scraps of recycled cotton into a gloriously scrappy, effervescent yarn that oozes personality.

Our limited edition scrap yarn is woven from merino roving and recycled cotton. Because we want to make this beautiful, sustainable fibre as accessible as possible to you, we’re listing all of our skeins at the same bulk price (even though they do range in weight and length). In weight, they range from 80g to 120g.
