“HOOKED ON A FEELING” METAL HOOK

As a macrame maker, I’m either at my rack, or seeking ways to display my work more beautifully.

The aesthetic appeal of copper with natural (or coloured) rope is hard to beat. And yet, it was virtually impossible to find copper or brass S Hooks with openings big enough to fit around the typically used macrame rack (you know…the adjustable one from Ikea that pretty much every macrame maker seems to have). Actually, it was hard to find any metal S Hooks with openings big enough to fit around my rack.

MATERIALS AND SIZING:

These S hooks are created with a smooth, polished powder coated finish. The colour is a rich copper with hints of vintaged brass. Please note that these hooks are not copper all the way through. Steel has more strength as a metal, and it’s important that hardware for macrame be designed with considerable weight in mind (because some of our designs get heavy).

These hooks are made of sturdy industrial steel with a diameter is 1/8th of an inch.

The hoop’s top and bottom is differently sized to fit around two key diameters. The smaller top hook will fit nicely around copper or wooden dowel; and the larger bottom hook fits perfectly around an adjustable macrame rack.
