For Pride Month, we wanted to do something to celebrate the ways in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, nonbinary, and two spirit people have persistently worked to make society better.

You can choose to purchase the metal frame alone and bring your own fibres to bear on a special design. Or, for the sake of simplicity we’ve also assembled a collection of fibres that have been used to create the finished version you see in this listing.

ABOUT THE PRIDE FLAG FRAME:

Our handmade metal progress Pride flag frame is made with industrial steel and a rust prevention powder coating in a colour of your choice. These metal frames are handcrafted in our Vancouver Island based workshop.

This flag measures approximately 12” by 8” and is created with 1/8th” gauge industrial grade steel.

Many different iterations of the Pride flag can be created with the help of this frame, including 2022’s intersex inclusive design by Valentino Vecchietti.

These are the fibres I used to create the finished pride flag you see in the listing images, but please note that this fibre pack does not include a pattern or instructions. The fun of this kit will be creating your own design and we’ve taken away the hassle of choosing materials in an attempt to streamline your project!
