ABOUT THIS FIBRE

Each one of these skeins of hand painted recycled cotton rope is a work of art. No two are exactly alike, but all possess a fluidity and organic beauty. I think it’s fair to say that everyone will see something different in these fibres: blossoms, landscapes, emotions, watercolours, canvases, and even memories.

Created by Canadian fibre artist, Sarah Elizabeth of Sarah Elizabeth Fibre Works, this texture series of vegan cotton yarns are hand painted in Rossland British Columbia.

In Sarah’s own words about her work, “these colourways are a feeling, a sense, and a representation of their name. They shift from time of day to season; and therefore, no two batches are ever alike. I create supplies to add a touch or whimsy or flare, as an accent within a larger whole.”

Made with 100% Unfettered cotton and Sarah’s visceral, unique colourways, these fibres are sure to bring something completely special to your creative process! I can’t wait to see what you’ll make with them.
