ABOUT THIS FIBRE

Our 100% cotton mercerized thread comes in 10g balls (approx 80 meters of continuous fibre per ball) of soft, durable, smooth, sleek, and polished cotton whose silky lustre allows for easy gliding. With a tight twist, this cotton creates firm stitches.

Mercerization is a textile finishing treatment used on some yarn and cellulose fibre. Mercerization improves colour fastness in dyes and reduces the impact of fibre shrinkage.
