With this new addition to our hand crafted metal collection, we have created robust plasma cut steel looms that are easy for weavers to warp. These are the sturdiest looms you will find–we promise. They won’t bend with use, and their gear-inspired aesthetic offers something a little different than your average roundie weave!

THE STORY OF OUR NEWEST PLASMA CUT STEEL LOOMS:

From the beginning, our metal workshop has aimed to create niche products and tools that will help professional fiber artists, hobby fibre crafters, and makers of all sorts. With these newest nested gear-shaped looms, we’ve thought about different ways you can level up your work by making it eye-catching, polished, stylized, and unique.

We’ve listened to your concerns about warping your looms and ensuring that they won’t bend or break in the process.

These are professionally cut, industrial-grade steel looms with a smooth, polished powder coated finish available in different metallic shades. The effect of powder coating on this metal is a shinny antiqued finish that pairs beautifully with fibers! Powder coating protects metal so that it is less inclined to rust, and thereby protects the textiles it holds from staining.

SIZING:

The size of the looms in descending order are 12″, 10″, 8″, 6″ and 4″. They are plasma cut from 16g steel plate and the teeth are 8mm (5/16) apart. These can be purchased individually or as a set of all 5 sizes.
